On June 7, Orange EV, an electric carmaker in Kansas city, USA, announced the results of its all-electric heavy card study. The company has already commercialized pure electric 8 (more than 15 tons) trucks. At present, Orange EV's pure electric weight card has been operating for 50,000 hours and 177,000 km. Most of these pure electric heavy card for ground vehicles, the average speed is lower than 40 kilometers per hour, the railway transport transit depot, distribution, manufacturing factory, waste transfer station in a central, warehouses and other logistics center operation need truck.

In may this year, through cooperation with other manufacturers, TransPower new battery technology companies in the United States produced 12 pure electric car heavy card, the truck is based on Peter bildt 579 chassis manufacturing, in 2018 and 2019 as a demonstration of short-distance transport vehicles, put into use in Carson city, California. Meanwhile, the e highway project in Carson, calif., is under construction. California's south coast air authority is working with a number of partners, including Siemens, to build a network that will enable the rapid charging of pure electric recharging. "Pure electric heavy card technology is real and feasible," said Michael Simon, CEO of TransPower.
In April, tesla CEO elon musk said the company had tested a pure electric recard called "spry". He said the heavy card could "go beyond diesel" and will go on sale in September. Elon musk also revealed that tesla could begin fully producing the all-electric heavy-duty tractor in 18 months to two years.

Daimler trucks last year introduced the mercedes-benz "city e truck," with a maximum load of 26 tons. The pure electric heavy-duty tractor has begun a small production and will be sold in Germany by the end of this year. Daimler said it now has more than 20 customers. If demand increases, the company will fully invest in production by 2020.
